The Successful Employment Program is made up of several services, professionally administered and offered at no charge to low-income women.

Our Services

Our volunteer coaches are human-resource professionals who work one-on-one to help clients develop specific employment tools, such as: a skills assessment, master job application, professional resume, mock interview practice, financial assessment and guidance through their job search.

Employment Coaching—Building the tools...

Our volunteer mentors provide our clients with an example for what success looks like.  Clients who are actively learning how to become valuable employees receive advice and support from their mentor.  Mentors help clients sort through and evaluate workshop materials, set goals, monitor their progress and complete coaching and homework assignments. 

Mentoring—Getting serious...

Women participate in our workshops designed to teach them how to develop the tools, build the confidence, create the networks and identify resources.  Workshops are held every-other Saturday morning.  See our Events Calendar for dates.

The WPN is an ongoing support system for PHP graduates, designed to provide opportunities for them to continue to achieve their full potential in the workplace.
